Night Recorder — Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the Android app Night Recorder (com.pascuallabs.nightrec) by Pascual Soft does with your data. In short: we have no accounts and no servers that collect your data. What the app needs, it keeps on your phone.

Microphone

Night Recorder listens through the microphone only while a night recording is running, including with the screen off. Sound is analysed on your phone.

Recordings

Only short clips around sounds are saved, in the app's storage on your phone. Old clips are deleted automatically according to your settings, and you can delete any clip or night yourself. A clip leaves the phone only when you share or export it.

Alarms

Exact alarms are used for the smart alarm and for starting and stopping recording on schedule.

Night notes

Notes and night scores are stored only on your phone.

Advertising

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address and general device information. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent first through Google's consent form, and you can change your choice at any time. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings. Read more in Google's advertising policy.

Purchases

“Remove ads” is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details; the app only receives a confirmation from Google Play that the purchase was made.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, we do not collect your name, contacts or location, and we do not create accounts.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Deleting your data

All app data is on your phone. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in the phone's settings, deletes it completely.
